The New Christs are back!
One of the most legendary Australian bands is visiting us 14 years after their last tour.
The New Christs were born in Sydney in the early ’80s, founded by none other than one of Radio Birdman’s frontmen, Rob Younger.
Throughout their career, the band has released five studio albums: Distemper (1989), Lower Yourself (1997), We Got This! (2002), Gloria (2009), and Incantations (2014). They are now presenting a double compilation album celebrating their outstanding career, to be co-released by FOLC Records (Spain) and Wild Honey Records (Italy).
Their energetic live shows have earned them fame both in Australia and abroad. Songs like “Born out of Time,” “Like a Curse,” and “Heading South” are deeply etched into the psyche of Australian underground music.
Younger’s unmistakable voice and unwavering stage presence remain a major draw for fans of Australian garage rock. The New Christs boast an incredible lineup featuring members of Radio Birdman, Celibate Rifles, and Screaming Tribesmen, among others.
