Cosimo and the Hot Coals: the new sound of Italian swing
Cosimo and the Hot Coals are six Italian musicians who embody the new sound of swing and jazz from the Roaring Twenties. Their music blends the passion of Hot Jazz and New Orleans Jazz from the 1910s and 1920s with the charm, elegance, and melodic tradition of Italian song, resulting in an authentic and deeply personal style.
Regarded as one of the rising stars of Italian swing, the band enjoys significant international recognition thanks to their strong presence on social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, where they have amassed over 20 million views. This success is further reinforced by the support of world-renowned artists like Michael Bublé, who has publicly praised their music and authenticity.
Their refined and captivating stage presence, the emotional intensity of their live performances, and a remarkable compositional ability have led them to perform at clubs and festivals across the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, and Bahrain, consolidating a solid international career.
In 2022, they released their third album, Mississippi Journal, on the Overdrive Records label. Driven by the single Elena, the album received an excellent international response, particularly in North and Central America.
An irresistible proposal for lovers of classic jazz, danceable swing, and the refined aesthetics of the 1920s, reimagined through a contemporary lens and full of personality.
On March 21st, Barcelona will have the privilege of welcoming Cosimo and the Hot Coals to the Aclam Club—a very special occasion that celebrates their arrival in the city and promises an unforgettable night of swing, elegance, and jazz at its finest.
