The true pioneers of Psychobilly are back.
For over four decades, their addictive sound has remained untouched by trends and true to their own unique universe. The Meteors, considered the “European Cramps,” have been leading the Psychobilly scene in Europe since the early 1980s.
With an explosive mix of punk, rockabilly, and lyrics inspired by science fiction and horror films, The Meteors have created a unique style that has defined generations. Throughout their career, they have released over fifty albums, masterfully blending rockabilly, country, surf, and rock ‘n’ roll.
Their sound is the result of imagining a fusion between the energy of Ramones punk and the rebellious spirit of Gene Vincent‘s rock and roll. Since their first LP in 1981, The Meteors have remained true to their essence: a pirate-looking trio, tattooed from head to toe, and devoted to B-movies, singing about Satan, graves, howling wolves, vampires, and guitars reminiscent of Hank Marvin of The Shadows.
The Meteors’ engine keeps spinning with the same force, making each song feel like its own unique and unmistakable anthem. On this tour, Paul Fenech and his band will demonstrate once again why they are, and will continue to be, the undisputed fathers of Psychobilly.
Get ready for an evening of pure psychobilly, punk, and sweat.
