Tensö: incendiary punk from the Canaries
TENSÖ is a band from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, formed by Hernán (vocals and guitar), Jo-C (drums) and Mofeta (bass). Its members have played —or still play— in bands such as Coach Moss, Bazofia, Reventar Todo, Brutalizzed Kids, Ma Pogo and Veneno Crew, forging a musical DNA hardened on all kinds of stages.
Their sound blends punk, hardcore and post-punk, delivering raw, stripped-down songs that blow your head off with cutting instrumentation and combative lyrics. Energetic tracks packed with sonic distortion and a fierce attitude, sharp and hard-hitting pieces driven by speed, rage and unrestrained decibels. TENSÖ distill dissonance and urgency, borrowing the best elements of 80s and 90s punk and hardcore to unleash original blasts that will hook any fan of the most incendiary punk. Their lyrics dive into themes like trash, lies, manipulation, self-destruction, failure and anxiety.
After a long tour across South America, TENSÖ return re-energized and ready to hit national stages again. It had been years since they last played in Madrid, and the occasion calls for a proper welcome.
On November 27th, they’ll be performing at Wurlitzer Ballroom (Madrid), joined by Enrale and Mil, in a night set to be a true punk explosion.
