In 1985, The Fuzztones unleashed Lysergic Emanations—not only their most iconic album, but also one of the definitive records that fueled the mid-80s garage rock revival. To this day, it remains a landmark release, hailed as one of the greatest garage punk/garage rock & roll/garage fuzz albums of all time.
Now, exactly forty years later, the band is hitting the road to celebrate where they’ve always belonged: on stage. Formed in New York in 1980 by Rudi Protrudi, The Fuzztones are also marking another milestone—forty-five years of non-stop rock ‘n’ roll history.
The Lysergic Emanations – 40 Year Anniversary Tour will pay full tribute to this legendary record, with a special setlist featuring the entire album performed live, along with rarities from singles, EPs, compilations, and other treasures from their early years.
To make the night even more unforgettable, garage fans will also be treated to a performance by The Smoggers—one of today’s leading European garage bands and one of the few who have truly captured the raw spirit and enduring legacy of The Fuzztones.
